![]() "I think I’m going to faint,” he whispers weakly.Īnd he would if it meant being with her every day for the rest of his life. When they separated, their foreheads touching, the entire restaurant had broken into applauses. “Dear, you look like you’re about to faint-"Īnd that’s when he rose up and kissed her senseless that the ring had almost fallen from his hand. ![]() “Aaron?” She waved a hand in front of his face. She had looked at him, really looked at him, for a good 20 seconds before cupping his cheek and smiling. He said a few poetic words that described his love for her, told her about what he plans for the future, and proposes to her, all the while looking extremely terrified and anxious. That thought died, though, the moment he knelt down on one knee with a diamond ring in the velvet box he was holding. It is revealed that Adam is a soldier for Aaron Warner. She had noticed that he was getting all jumpy and excited ever since he brought her here, but her mind had told her that it was nothing. One day, the Reestablishment, a government that has the world within its grasp, comes for Juliette. (He even had to call Kenji, Castle, and literally every high-ranking board member of the government to tell them that their President and Vice-President couldn’t attend because he wanted to propose to her.) He had already reserved the restaurant (the specific table), his suit and her dress (God knows the woman hates being fashionable), and all the other things that would’ve made the day perfect. Hell, if he had the chance to even arrange the entire universe to what he wanted it to be for the time he proposes to her, he would have. I just started the series (yesterday actually) and have been through four books already I’ll be honest with you, first book - I hated Aaron - I hated his personality and genuinely didn’t see a future with Juliette with him. You mean, like, write a ficlet on it? Idk if that’s what you want but here it goesĮverything was ready.
